Eco-Design
Our purpose-built eco-factory
is designed to be as resource-efficient as
possible. Rainwater is collected for use in the
garden, ‘grey’ water from manufacturing is
recycled to flush the toilets, the offices are
kept naturally cool with a roof-height air vent
system and large (highly insulated) windows
throughout the building maximize natural
light. We compost plant and food waste, and
with a little help from the wormery, this feeds
the soil to keep our herbs in top condition.
Our state-of-the-art eco-factory is built with an oak timber
structure at its heart, and is clad in untreated larch wood.
