The Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep
Database (EWG is a founding member of the
Campaign for Safe Cosmetics) uses available research
to review individual ingredients in isolation, rather than
the actual amounts used in a product, which may be
tiny: it’s important to remember this, particularly where
we use powerful, completely natural, essential oils.
We can’t be perfect but are always careful to select the
safest, most effective and environmentally responsible
ingredients. And as new ones become available,
we review and reformulate our products.
